To do something meaningful for others gives hope to us all.

Melicent Boysen has founded and directed three successful non-profit social enterprises throughout her business consulting career. She continues to serve on community organization boards that provide assistance to families and youth. 

Through one of her initiatives, Ms. Boysen created an organization that provides Native American children with enhanced educational and career opportunities. That organization, Visible Horizons, received President Bill Clinton’s Volunteer Action Award which was established to "recognize, inspire, and encourage exemplary volunteer community service directed at solving serious social problems in communities throughout the Nation".
